Air Cargo represents one of the most vulnerable and critical areas in aviation security today. In 2007, Congress passed the 9/11 Commission Act, which requires the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to create a system capable of screening all air cargo transported on passenger aircraft.

This course addresses the skills and tools required to effectively profile and screen cargo for any kind of terrorist threat. Trainees will learn how terrorists can exploit and infiltrate the air-cargo system and the commercial route. They will also learn to identify the correlating suspicion indicators that such terrorist activities could produce in the freight’s documentation, packaging, content and overall appearance. The course will provide effective security measures (technological and human) that stakeholders can use to prevent or minimize threat to air-cargo..
